OUR PHILOSOPHY We, at Challenges for Success Ropes Course, believe that the lessons learned from concrete experiences are more real and personal than anything derived solely from classroom learning. Our activities and initiatives relate directly to experiences that individuals and teams have to deal with in their daily lives. While working together on the course, participant’s experience enhanced communication, trust and co-operation. Unfamiliar roles and new group dynamics are explored as team members share the frustration of problem-solving, as well as, the pride in succeeding. Individuals improve their understanding of themselves and colleagues and teams are able to recognize and deal with task, process and relationship issues. The philosophy of “CHALLENGE BY CHOICE” provides the opportunity for every participant to achieve success as an individual and part of a group. Success is not determined by how well individuals or groups perform, but rather by the extent to which they are willing to try something new and work together to accomplish a task.
