Prenatal Classes

REGISTRATION AND ALL CLASSES ARE FREE!

During the classes you will learn about:

§ Physical changes in pregnancy

§ Psychological/emotional changes in pregnancy

§ Nutrition for baby and mom

§ Baby growth and development

§ Exercising (improve toning for childbearing and delivery)

§ Relaxation

§ Breathing techniques for each stage of labour

§ Signs and stages of labour and delivery

§ Hospital procedures (admitting)

§ Hospital tour

§ Characteristics of a newborn

§ Feeding, infant care, and safety

 

Who Can Attend?

Pregnant teens and young adults who need information and support during their pregnancy. You can bring a boyfriend, husband, a friend, or relative.

Do I Have To Bring Someone?

No. You are welcome to come alone but we encourage you to bring a friend to act as your coach, especially when we begin breathing techniques. Your friend is welcome anytime.
