ONE night of fun,
 feeling good, acting dumb.

TWO many drinks, thinking I’d be cool,
dancing around the room, acting like a fool.

THREE in the morning, time to go home,
too drunk to drive, but I’m all alone.

 FOUR people injured,
 words slightly slurred.

 FIVE instantly dead,
a major gash on my head

SIX in the morning, seeing what I’d done,
not feeling so cool, or having so much fun.

SEVEN thousand dollars in repairs to be made,
the pain in my head, cutting like a blade.

EIGHT stitches, holding me in place,
 thankful for my life,
they’ll be able to fix my face.

 NINE saddened parents,
 crying for their child,
just one night, gone absolutely wild.

TEN times a day, I think of what I’ve done,
 All the pain and suffering,
for just one night of fun.
