Tips to making it a ‘Night to Remember’

 Cheap Eats!
Forget that 5 star restaurant and have an awesome barbecue or picnic instead, for all of your friends or just you and your date.

 Be A D.J.
Make a mix of all your favourite songs to ride to the prom with and make sure you request those songs at the dance so you can groove all night.

 Stylin’ Wheels!
Making an entrance is important, so why not make it with your own personal prom-mobile! Decorate you car with streamers, a mini-disco ball and write prom-mobile on the side with shaving cream. If you’re being dropped off – have your driver dress and act as a chauffeur.

 Take One . . .
Grab either a camera or video camera and capture all of the nights action, from the pre prom activities to the post prom parties. Make copies and present them as a gift to your closest friends for graduation

 Let’s Make A Deal
Wild parties and all weekend events can cloud anyone’s judgement if you’re not careful. Make a pact with your best friend about what you would/would not want to do and keep an eye out for each other – just in case.

Will you still love me tomorrow?!
If you are going with a date to the prom rather than a group of friends make it clear how far you will – or will not go at the after prom party. Having this discussion with yourself or your date or your best friend before prom events begin to sweep you up will guarantee you’ll still love yourself in the morning.

 Drink Up!
Rather than driving around and looking for a post-prom booze/fight – fest, have an after prom luau with your closest friends. You could serve awesome fruity mocktails (non-alcoholic drinks) and lots of Polynesian food!

 The Morning After . . .
Get together with your best friends the morning after prom and have brunch, compare stories, and relive the night!
