Local business supports youth through a special lunch

WINDSOR – A community-minded business is helping youth by offering its neighbors a BBQ lunch this week.
The Clarica – Anchor Drive Office’s second annual “Lunch for the Future” to benefit the Teen Health Centre (THC) will take place on Friday, September 30 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Clarica Anchor Drive office.
For just $5, attendees will receive a BBQ lunch including a hot dog or hamburger, chips, dessert and pop. All of the money raised will go to support THC programs and services.
This is the second annual Lunch for the Future event. Last year, the BBQ raised close to $5,000 for the local teen organization.
For tickets, please phone 253-8481 ext. 238. Tickets are also available at the event.
This initiative is part of RBC Teen Health Month. For more information, go to www.teenhealthcentre.com. The THC serves by promoting youth, family and community health through service, community education and advocacy.
