Windsor FOCUS Community is a provincial program funded by the Ministry of Health Promotion and operated locally by the Teen Health Centre.
The goal of the Windsor FOCUS Community Program is to prevent alcohol and other drug abuse, including injuries associated with alcohol and other drug abuse. To accomplish this goal, Windsor FOCUS Community plans a variety of activities and initiatives targeting a wide range of audiences, such as children, students, youth, adults, seniors, families, parents, teachers and businesses. Along with implementing new activities, FOCUS partners with various community agencies, committees and groups to augment existing alcohol and drug prevention programs and activities in Windsor and Essex County.
